Stop wasting your money on expensive cleaning supplies and start making your own – this DIY All Purpose Cleaner recipe is perfect for using anywhere around the house…even in the kitchen!
I am not a fan of commercial cleaning products and with the exception of bleach and toilet cleaning brushes, I rarely use them. Store-bought cleaning products are packed full of toxic chemicals that I don’t want to spray around my kids, my dogs or my food and I decided long ago to forgo using them. Instead, I make my own homemade cleaning supplies. My favorite to make is my all purpose cleaner recipe. It’s simple, requires only 2 ingredients and I can use it all over the house without worrying that it will make my family sick.
The recipe begins with vinegar, which is not only a powerful cleaner, but it’s also antibacterial, antimicrobial and deodorizing. What more do you need? With this simple cleaner you’ll kill off both the nasties and the stench without the use of chemicals!
Plus, vinegar is super cheap! I just bought a 169 ounce bottle at BJ’s last week for only $3.79. If I were to use that bottle of vinegar for only cleaning purposes, I’d be able to make this recipe 10 times before the bottle was empty and it would cost just $0.38 for each batch (not counting the essential oils, of course). Compare that to your favorite store-bought cleaner!
So, instead of wasting your money and filling your home with chemicals, give this simply DIY all purpose cleaner recipe a try – you’ll love it!
