Hundreds of Free Printables Coming Soon! Plus, custom artwork coming your way!
Okay, so if you remember if awhile back, I mentioned that I had received many requests for the printable planners and such that I used to sell on Etsy?
Well, I relisted them all in the shop. But, since being sick and reevaluating what I want out of the shop (and finding myself to be the Wal-Mart of design) I’ve decided to take them down…again.
That’s not where my passion really lies.
I mean, they’re fun to make and all…but I just don’t want to sell printables anymore. There’s no interaction with the customer (YOU!) and I don’t like that.
I love working with you to create the perfect design and that’s what I want to stick with in the shop. Over the last year, I’ve really discovered how much I love to create custom drawings for customers and that’s where my passion really lies.
That doesn’t mean I’m taking away the printable planners from those of you that still love them!
Instead of selling printables in the shop, I’m moving them all over here to the blog and I’m giving them all away…for FREE!
Soon, on the Free Printables page, you’ll find hundreds of printable planners, cash envelope systems and so much more.
I’m literally giving away years worth of work, but I think it’s worth it…
Do It With Passion Or Not At All…
At this particular stage of my life, I’m more interested in being passionate about my work, working with customers that appreciate the hard work that goes into illustration and stationery design and creating art that I’m proud of, rather than just “getting the job done“.
On that note…
Back in 2014, I drew our house in New York for a card that I was sending to the family and I had a lot of fun doing it.
Then, a year or so ago, a customer asked me to draw their lake house for a note card…
And recently, I decided to draw our new home here in Vermont.
It was so much fun to draw our new house! I’m really quite proud of how it came out and I think it’s the best one I’ve done so far. I’m thinking about making some note cards that have the house on them, too. They’d be perfect for sending family and friends that live far away!
But, the real question is…what do you think? Would you want a custom house drawing of your own?
How about a portrait of your favorite puppy?
Or a sketch of your favorite place in the world?
I’m thinking about offering custom art work in the shop…maybe on stationery…maybe wall art. I’m not sure yet.
What do you think?
Send me a message. I’d love to hear your ideas!
