As I mentioned earlier, I love herbal tea. And my husband and children love it, too. We drink hot herbal tea all winter long in our house. Then in the summer, we make a variety of iced teas that include herbs and fresh fruit, too!You might also like:

So, I thought since we were on the subject of tea, I’d share a few recipes for hot herbal teas that you can drink every day.


Hot Herbal Tea Mix Recipes for Every Day
Supplies/Equipment Required:
- Small storage dishes with lids (1 for each mix you plan to make)
- Teapot or small sauce pot
- Tea strainer/infuser
- Your favorite mug
Hot Herbal Tea Mix Recipes for Every Day

Ingredients
Happy Morning Tea
- 1 teaspoon matcha
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pure maple sugar, optional, to sweeten
Citrus Mint Tea
- 1 tablespoon lemon mint
- 1 tablespoon orange mint
- 1 teaspoon peppermint
Fruity Tea
- 2 teaspoons raspberry leaf
- 1 teaspoon hibiscus
- 1 teaspoon orange peel
- 1 teaspoon lemon peel
- 1/2 teaspoon pure maple sugar, optional, to sweeten
Bedtime Tea
- 1 tablespoon chamomile
- 1 tablespoon catnip
- 1 teaspoon spearmint
- 1/2 tablespoon dry milk, optional, to create a creamy tea
Instructions
To Make Your Own Hot Tea:
- Boil water in a teapot or small sauce pot.
- Place 1 tablespoon of your favorite dried herb mixture (from above) into a tea strainer.
- Place the strainer in your favorite mug and pour the hot water over the herbs. Cover with a lid or napkin.
- Allow the tea to steep for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Sit down, relax and enjoy your tea.
